The problem
What was broken before we arrived
Managing manuscript submissions, editorial revisions, and double-blind peer review cycles over email was causing lost papers, reviewer delays, and publication backlog.
Manual registration of Digital Object Identifiers (DOIs) with Crossref required generating complex XML schema files and manual deposit uploads prone to schema validation rejections.
Researchers needed a public, SEO-indexed open-access repository where academic citations, author affiliations, and official DOI hyperlinks are publicly verifiable.
Strategy & Discovery
How we solved it
Engineered an end-to-end editorial workflow: manuscript upload, plagiarism check metadata, blind reviewer assignment, revision loops, and formal editorial decision matrices.
Directly integrated the Crossref REST API: upon editorial acceptance and issue compilation, the platform automatically formats XML metadata and mints live, verified DOI numbers.
Constructed an open-access public research repository with Google Scholar metadata tags, citation export tools (BibTeX, APA, MLA), and downloadable PDF manuscripts.
